Official Dartmouth Early Decision Results Thread

Congratulations to all who got into Dartmouth :)

-(MIT/Columbia)

this reminds me of MUN. with all the different schools coming like delegations to congratulate.

in any case, congratulations from Harvard EA!

p.s. raspberry_smoothie who are you. if you are who i think you are...well i resent being lied to but congratulations.

Congratulations everyone! Whether or not things worked out for you, next year at this time, like xanatos said, I'm sure you won't be able to imagine going anywhere else than where you end up. I've sort of been lurking around the past few months; I decided the night before apps were due to turn in my Princeton ED one instead. But who knows? We might be seeing each other on campus next fall.

Much love to you all,
Kat

haha, Justice, that's exactly what I was thinking (re: CC:MUN). It's so cool...

And yeah, depending on what happens next week, I may be seeing you (though I doubt if if I'm rejected next week) next year as well. Dartmouth rocks!

accepted D'mouth 09

congratulations and condolences in their respective directions and good luck to everyone with the rest of their apps.
I hope to see all of you in the fall

~John

Congrats everyone. I hope you all are very happy at Dartmouth.

Columbia University '09

Zach Wishes EXTREME congratulations to all acceptees - AND DEFERREES!

Rejectees - Im sorry about your rejection - but sometimes you gotta think that God has a greater plan for you.

has everyone noticed everyone accepted is 1400+ (well above 1400!!!!) i am scared!!!!!!! :(

Accepted Dmouth '09

Congrats/condolences to all Dartmouth and Columbia ED applicants (and good luck to Brown applicants for tomorrow!). This an awesome board, so much support.

So.

Onwards to calculus hw...

Ahhh I wish I had done ED. :(

I guess it's time to start rallying the RDers, eh?

This is D- You guys don't realize how weird this feels in Alabama. None of my friends have heard anything yet (except those who were going to state schools) ED isn't very common. A classmate saw my peer recommendation and asked where dart-MOUTH was. I was skipping down the halls (school was still in session when ED was posted) and no one even knows where I'm going. It's almost an anti-climax.

I got in...
Stats=
SAT 1510 (800 Math, 710 Verbal)
Sat II (780,730,720)
lightly recruited for squash
To everyone who didn't get in- everything happens for a reason and wherever you end up you will be happier there-that's the truth.
To those of you who did- congrats and I'll see you next fall.

from the columbia board (a junior)- congrats to acceptees, good luck to everyone and i'm sorry defferrees/rejectees. Columbia seems to have had a massacre, and you guys seemed to fair a little better. Good luck to all those who'll be in the rd round.

Haha Justice~.... busted.

But you understand- the deadline was sooo close and it was only what- three days.... I just couldn't talk about it. This was like a venting board. Anyways, send me an email and we can talk. Have a great break.

PS- In my defense, I DID change it last minute.

Congratulations Dartmouth Class of 2009, and my deepest sympathies and best of luck to those rejected/deferred.

~~ Tlaktan, Georgetown Early Action

congratulations to everyone who made it...and best of luck to those who didn't.

what about journogirl?

Congratulations/condolences everyone...you guys will all have amazing college experiences.

Scimmia, I am a Hesse fan! How did you know?

........gee, thanks Kerron.

Wow. Kerron has said some foolish things on the Harvard board, but that was just despicable. I'm sorry werd and Elizabeth.
