<p>I applied ED (and was accepted) and I know what you all are going through. Good luck, and if you are rejected/waitlisted, it is not the end of the world.

<p>While I admire your philosophy, I do think certain stats, such as GPA and class rank, are integral to the decision of the admissions committee. If we are aiming to help this year's juniors get a sense of where they stand, we should at least provide rank/GPA.</p>
<p>It is true that too much emphasis is placed on the SAT. Why not make that component optional, instead of doing away with the stats section altogether?</p>
