[*] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: A girl from my high school with very similar stats applied and was accepted ED. Also, I'm more of a science and math focus rather than a liberal arts focus like Davidson is structured toward. I don't play any sports and I didn't apply ED. Also, I am out of state, but still from the area.</p>
<p>Early Decision candidates are MUCH more likely to get in. In my year, 48% of Early Decision applicants were admitted and 21% admitted Regular Decision, evening out to 25.4% overall.</p>
<p>I don't know the specific breakdown for your year, but I would imagine it's below 20%. This evening I was at the Admissions office for a meeting about hosting prospectives in the month of April and your class was 24% overall.</p>
<p>To answer your question simply, there is a substantial boost from Early Decision.</p>
