<p>a little bit of a shame; john scofield and his band are playing in my town on the 17th. And also, I wouldn't be able to make it on the 20th. Whatever, unless he dies or something, there will be more shows.</p>

<p>Are you sure? I haven't been invited through a letter but I am a minority and have called about receiving transportation aid for Diversity Days and got a rather sassy "No, sorry hun" from the lady in charge. I don't think Columbia pays for anything.</p>
<p>lol, yes I am positive. In my origianl acceptance package I had an invitation and directions to call a provided travel agent who would provide "special arrangements". Trust me it is certain, I leave this friday....</p>

<p>god dammit! I missed the registration deadline by one day. I emailed them and left a message on their voicemail about it. Do you think they'll let me go to the April 17 session? </p>
