***Official Dec 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

Do you guys think this math curve with will as bad/worse than the November one?

One wrong is always 800 on a HARD math section

@Jacktang23 are you sure the “in which” was picking the best sentence? I don’t remember…if so the answer should have “in which” in it right?

@Jackytang23‌ no 1 wrong has been 800 in the past even though it’s rare. however, usually harder math tests -1 would be 780-790, not closer to 750

@RHS do you take the SAT every month?

Was there ever a consensus on Alice’s birthday second paragraph first sentence either contributed to setting or explained her attitude? I put attitude but now I’m worried that was inferring/extrapolating too much from the text.

Yeah but -3 is NEVER 800 lol…and yes I’m pretty sure it’s ‘in which’

@Jackytang23‌
Actually, I’ve seen tests where 2 wrong is 800 in Math, so 3 wrong is very possible.

@RHSclassof16‌
Haven’t seen the November test so can’t know for sure, but the math was hella easy, so curve should be super harsh.

“In” was def not in the end

@APScholar18 No this is actually my first SAT ever. I just heard on here that the math curve for the SAT was bad. Like people got 700 for omitting 2 and getting one wrong or something.

what was the question about Alice’s feeling in line 2-7? I put reverence…

yea i dont remember seeing in at the end, its just the 1 guy saying so atm

@woandering I’ve never seen -2 =800 before…not even of official realsed sat tests

Did anybody get genre for the starwars question?

@RHS if that’s true about the November curve that’s awful…

How many of you guys are juniors?

Looks like we’ve exhausted most of the questions we remember…
Predictions on curve? This is my first SAT do I don’t have much to compare it to (except practice tests). Math seemed easy, reading seemed ok except for a few sketchy ones and writing seemed normal.

Math maybe -1= 760-770

I have a concern regarding the essay. The topic, for those who don’t know, was if one should be emotionally attached or detached while doing something. This wasn’t the actual wording of the question, but you get the point.
Anyway, I used an example of the baseball player Jackie Robinson. Here’s the thing. I wrote Ricky Williams instead of Jackie Robinson. I couldn’t remember his actual name whatsoever. And Ricky Williams is the closest name that came to mind. xD
So, would the graders look down upon that? I mean, I got the whole plot/argument pertaining to him right and I also included a few other names which were accurate. It was only that one name which went haywire.
Thoughts?

That wasn’t my essay topic
