I think the question was "What are the possible values of x if x is 4 away from 5."

I put |x-5| = 4 because possible answers are 1 and 9.

|1-5| = 4

|9-5| = 4

exactly what I was thinking.awesome

I'd still like an answer on the problem with the pentagon and two triangles.

I have no idea..sorry

OMG STUPID CAN QUESTION I HATE THEM collegeboard really needs to word their problems carefully... its not suppose to "intentionally" trick us that way GRRRRRRRRR i got 3 dollars for everything n i was like hmmm SOMETHINGS WRONG then i hear "PENCILS DOWN!" dslkhfalskjhaslj! so mad...

Did anyone else find the last question on the test (last question in 10 minute writing section) very awkward and difficult? It was something about sticker shock. I felt that none of the answers sounded good, but what did you guys put?

was that the also because or because also question??

No, but for that one I think I put also because.

me too =D i dono if thats right tho

ALSO does anyone know the answer to the math question: HOW MANY NUMBERS BTWN SOME NUMBER TO SOM OTHER NUMBER HAVE AT LEAST ONE ZERO IN THEIR DIGITS?

I got 171 for that one

but the problem is idk if you have to count 1000...if you do then it's 172

i put 171 so i really hope theres no 1000.. i dont even remmeber the exact phrasing

the wording was: "greater than 99, less than 1000"

I think they want you to consider all 3-digit numbers.

Do you guys think -1 will still be an 800 on the math section?

Stupid can problem!!!!!!!

You have a chance, and thanks!

-1 is most likely still 800 esp when ppl say dec sat has nice curves

Hmmm the question with the shaded in box, and the areas of 3 boxes inside of 1, 4, 9 was it just, the big box, height of 3 times two so 6*6 and then minus the 1, 4, and 9?

The can one was 2.50 right?

7/70th term

what about s + t?

then one answer was 10t for miles or something

Amelia was the youngest

one grid in was 32.5 right (x)? for the degree of 2x??

s + t is wrong, question is which is GREATEST NUMBER i think? so it would be r, s, t and r+s bigger than r+t and set r = -5, s= -7, t= -9. i think thats how i did it. maybe im wrong. but s-r= -7- (-5)= -2, s+t= -16, t-s= -4 ? those were three of the choices i think?? ahh if i'm wrong i'm sorry but i think thats the prob/ way to solve

amelia was youngest, grid in is 32.5

wait i thought amal was the youngest?!!!
