<p>Man, it would have been really tight to have gotten 800 on verbal. This is the second time I took the SAT; my math score stayed the same, but my verbal went up exactly a hundred points, with no prep! The critical reading was much easier than last time, and I guessed really, really well on the analogies I didn't know, like in that one question ruling out "explode" because the original word was "imbue" and ex- and im- are opposites. So really, my verbal was probably a fluke, but at least analogies are gone in the new SAT (I'm a junior).</p>
<p>And the weird thing is, I'm in college multivariable calculus and I'm 15 and I hate English, yet I do better on verbal than math.</p>
