Official Dec Test (CR-Shakespeare, Autobiography-brother Dennis)

summer 1953 must be experimental im guessing
how many questions in shakespeare??? not 16 not 16 not 16

I thought the conception question was that the author of passage 2 said that Passage 1’s conception that Deverve was the shakespeare was based on the fact that he “perfectly fit” the qualities of the plays. Thus, passage 2 though that pasasge one’s conception was idealisitc.

SumKuteAngel, can I just ask what’s your first name? I might know you.

dont answer it. lmao jk

lets talk about the one passage where he talks about the scientific observations.

i remember one answer i put was “praising your own work is counterproductive” or something.

yes, counterproductive

are you 100% sure?? I put testing new theories.

This is crazy…I thought I bombed CR…but reading this, I’ve only gotten 4 wrong!

how much is it if i got about 9 wrong and 3 omitted? around 700?

and i have to agree that it was counterproductive.

wow, i put that other scientists wouldn’t like it because the passage mentions that the scientists who put forth the crazy ideas were promoters rather than critics, and this came at the expense of other scientists scrutinizing their work for them

the crazy theories were…
unable to tested until the far future OR do not deal with the realm of physical science

SeaHawg, I got 9 wrong in October and got a 690. My guess for you would be a 660.

anyone remember the “computer/brain” questions?

counterproductive doesn’t seem right…

b/c the passage was talking about new theories, and how most of them are tested , and if one scientist promotes his own, it’ll end up being more tested, I think..
what does it have to do with progress?

i think that was a different question.

2300th post. hopefully it matches my dec sat score. haha.

@andrea: I’ll get the 2400 one. =]

llewis, on the oct 9 i got 14 wrong and 1 ommited but I recieved a 630?

the specific lines that this question was asking about talked about how some scientists cheered on their own product or theory. this annoyed other scientists. so it was counterproductive to the scientist to talk positively about his own stuff.

Yeah, so 660 sounds right

the crazy theories were…
unable to tested until the far future OR do not deal with the realm of physical science

Which is right???
