Just wondering for those who’ve taken ACT before, does the Writing Score affect your composite score in any way, or is your composite score set in stone?

The composite score is independent of the writing score. They are separate.

Composite: 33

I am disgusted with science right now. Had I gotten a 31 there, I would have a 34 composite, which is my goal. Oh well.

@ dsus444 …when did you get your score?

Um, does anyone know when the standby people usually get their score? Actually, I changed my date and test location, but on the ACT website it still has me registered for the February one. :)

First time ever (junior)

35 E (darn I was pretty sure I’d get a 36)
32 M (good by my low standards)
34 R (meh)
28 S (Honestly better than I thought; science killed me!)
9 E (WHAT THE HECK??? Score: Y U SO LOW???) ← disgusting!

Composite 32. What I needed.
meh

Incorrigible when did you get your score? …are they still releasing scores??
Please reply.

Still haven’t received my scores yet! Argh. They say “registered”. How long am I going to have to wait?
When I took them in September, I never got an email they were ready, which is why I’m REALLY worried. I don’t want to go on every day until February! I also want to know if I need to register for another test or not. UGH!

same problem…deadlines are approaching ![]()
To those who got their scores, please let
us know when did you get them

Guys, if you didn’t get your scores today, don’t worry. Check back on Thursday, I think that’s when they release the next batch of scores.

“If your scores are not available on that first date, check back weekly. Scores are processed and added each week, usually each Wednesday and Friday.”

This is driving me crazy.

^ Ah, yeah, Wednesday and Friday, my bad. xD

To the guy asking about when everyone got their scores… why are you asking? :deadbanana:

This is the first batch, so everyone who has their score got it on Tuesday. :deadbanana: Like starchywinky said, the next batches come on Wednesday and Friday

What about standby scores? Wednesday and Friday?

@GoodDocGoneBad I didnot ask you? did I? I didnot know about the batch thing before fyi

I took this test as a first time junior. Do you guys think it’s worth it to take the SAT as well? I took a Princeton Review diagnostic SAT in October and got a 2050, but I got a 222 on the PSAT… Any thoughts?

Congrats to those of you happy with your score, and best of luck to everyone retaking it in the future!

So happy right now but I was only one dumb math mistake away from a 35 =

Does anyone know how many wrong it is to get a 35 for all sections? Did you need a perfect score this time to get a 36 on all sections as well? Thanks!
