***Official December 9 ACT Math Thread****

what about the matrix question?

i thought it was way harder
i guessed on quite a few
like 8 or 9 prolly
um
and the matrix 1 was easy...if ur talkin bout the matrix translation 1

yea what was the answer

The last time I studied matrices was 2 years ago. Haha, I had to draw the thing out. I got -3 though.

on the matrix one, i had absolutely no idea what to do, but I just looked at what the other numbers did and it was easy, I just followed the pattern lol even though I don't even know the first thing about matrices. Now watch, I got it wrong. But I hate the ACT.

ok good.....was thequestion where the answer was 23?

does anyone remember the matrix problem

I am senior and need to send my ACT scores...

my question is... Should i use rush? (i dont even know if it exist) and how can i send my score?

Hmm, well I'm a senior as well. I'd check the schools you're applying to. Most colleges say that the last ACT/SAT test they'll accept is the December one.

did any one else get 51 2/3 instead of 53 1/3 degrees?

I marked 53 1/3 because it was closest but my math didn't come out exactly as the answer

[/quote]

That because you're silly and you found X, whereas it asked for the angle. So after you found X you needed to plug it back in the equation that signified the angle in order to get the answer.

Ohhh, i remember that question. Yeah, i got 53 1/3.

what was the question if anyone remembers

Did anyone barely finish the math? Time was a major issue for me, and I almost didn't finish.

you must be really good at english and reading then, cause i had 15 mins left.

I'm also pretty good at math. And I usually always have time left after to go through and check. Oh well, don't know what happened there. Maybe I took too long on each problem.

What Form Number did you Have?

63D? or is that not a form number.

was the answer to the one that was (5x10^m)(8x10^n)?....was it 40x10^(m+n+1)

What were the answers for the trig graph questions?

Which letter point is the y-intercept.

How does the graph look when reflected over line y=x.

i put P? and umm for the reflection i put E....where it was on the first quadrant
