***Official December 9 ACT Reading Thread****

This section was pretty easy, but I had only 5 minutes to do the 1st reading. Heh, I work backwards, because I find the Natural Science passage easiest to take.

for the postal one, what did u say for the one when they asked what was true about the colonial post office guys.

I thought the hardest was the one about the postal system, the easiest was the one about the lady, and the undfined swamp edges .. or somthing

what did u guys say for the question the was about the lady taking the picture of the father and son?

What were the choices, I don't remember. For both of them

I think something about them working as editors for newspapers? o.O What did you say was the main idea of the postal passage? I said something about the passage showing the transition of lettersgoing from public to private....idk lol..i hated that passage with a passion!

haha ya i cant remember the answer choices, i was hoping someone would, wut about the secttion on the spiders... "what did the author not mention?" was it what spiders ate?

yea thats what i put, lacrimedallaluna

nope, they mentioned wat they ate

oh, which thing did the lady not identify herself as? twin sister, neatly folded shadow, and soem other choices?

hmm..i put that they didnt mention what they ate....

didnt they mention what the spiders ate?

All these threads with the ***s are annoying.

Thats what I put too.

I think they did mention what the spiders ate ... 2 times actually. I think they didn't give a reason for why the 2 protien one wouldn't work. Like they said it wouldn't, but there was so explanation.

neatly folded shadow and lala u are correecctttt

o, the other choice was like a "blowing lawn mower" i put that one idk if it right.

i think it was a lawn mower

19382, I am sorry.

^^ one of those choices was a lawn mower. She ID'ed herself as a lawnmower in the first paragraph.

she compared herself to a lawn mower...

what was the answer to the question like what two things are hard to combine?

i think i put like hardness and stretch
