alexsmol? one hour away, and you didn't visit? not to be harsh, but i would consider that significant.

well more like 2-3 but yeah i'd agree wtih you, i didn't visit becasue i didn't decide to apply to bucknell till like right before the deadline, when my GC suggested it incase haverford and u chicago didn't work out (which they didn't) and i didn't visit later csoue i was sick alot and school etc, of course they dont' know that, and i guess it makes sence. watever

don't beat yourself up. they don't offer interviews. so you missed the tours and open houses. it wasn't meant to be...

You're right. While you're still injured, try not to cry over milk already spilt.

Have to say though that it would seem like your GC offered poor counsel, and it was received. Any ideas where he/she might have gotten the idea that BU would be a safe for you? Do you have a reasonable plan C? There are ALOT of places dying for a student like you!

my GC is a moron, when i didnt' get into swat, she was liek WAT??? and called their offices in shock. I thought i had a pretty good chance with the national merit thing, but eh, idk i'm ok about it. I'm almost defently going to Goucher, i got intouch with the track coach and am now really excited about going, so it all worked out for the best :) (oooo and i only have to pay like 2k/year at goucher, yay!!!) good luck to yall
