<p>Update. D's guidance office called UMD about her not having been asked to Honors. They looked into it and she's now been asked. It's not clear to me if there was an error the first time around or if they reviewed her file again. Either way, she's happy.</p>

<p>same thing happened with my friend. prolly the smartest kid I know. 2/594 1470, and he didn't get in honors, so he sent in a letter, and they let him in.</p>
