I got into the School of Physical Sciences as a chem major, but I want to switch into genetics or molecular bio.

this is making me really crazy, i thought there was no way i would get in but theres a slim chance i might i have a 3.4 1900 SATs and undeclared major+ 100 community service

I'm in the same boat. I have a 3.3 GPA and a 1970 SAT with 400+ of community service and i'm editor-in-chief of the newspaper. I hope I have a shot.

amiradaprincess you'll get in, i know people with pretty low stats get in.

thanks and i hope ur right... i will update u guys once i get anything

my friend got in with a 3.1ist but he had music as his major, hes not musically accomplished or anything...mine is undeclared..so there is hope yet

if it helps, i know of zero people who got rejected from irvine at my school...not the most selective in my opinion

that's cuz they haven't started sending out the rejections yet :-(

amiradaprincess: is uci your first choice?
