Rejected :( (wharton)

deferred ED....

:(

Thanks for the complement aab123 even though I am far from it. It's just a little disheartening knowing that the only school i've been accepted to so far was the one that legally had to accept me (top 10% in texas).

Here's what has happened so far for me:
UT Austin: Accepted into business school and Plan II lib arts honors (waiting to hear back from business honors)
Washington U St. Louis: Waitlisted
Penn: Rejected
U Chicago: Don't know yet
Rice: Don't know yet

Another thing that might have hurt me is the fact that i've only taken 3 years of spanish when four are recommended. The foreign language department at my school is awful.

My dad came into my room a couple minutes after I got my decision and he seemed more dissappointed then I was. It was pretty funny. He kept saying, you know, it's alright for you to be angry or sad and show some emotion. Then I told him that I guess I just don't care enough after 3 months of waiting. It was just nice to get some sort of closure. So yes, I'm dissappointed, but nearly as much as I thought I would be 3 months ago.

Accepted!!! (College)

[li] why you think you were accepted/rejected/defered: must've been something in the letter i sent them after deferral, or the new essay, or the additional recommendation[/li][/ul]Other Factors: i don't know. didn't even get an interview, was very disappointed about that. but wow. i cannot believe this. i'm still stunned/shocked/surprised. gosh. and i got into another ivy, toooo. .totally, totally unexpected. wow i'm so happy. lol XP
