Official Decisions

Will they email decisions Thursday?

I only think they email intl's (due to the fact it may take up to a week to reach them by snail mail).

No, don't they send the decisions to international students via courier?

So, are they sending them out today? I've been oddly patient these days. Too busy worrying about school exams to care too much about the decisions.

I am just bumping this thread up so that it will be alive by the time we get our decisions. :)

bump

hmm...we have made it to 2 pages before any decisions show up.

ottothecow: "hmm...we have made it to 2 pages before any decisions show up."

Which isn't surprising when people keep posting impertinent rubbish like that in it. ;)

so is everybody basically set on the fact that they sent it out on thursday?

Either Thursday or Friday, probably.

I think we're going to have to start a new thread for our decisions; this one's getting very cluttered!

meh, its all good. it'll let next year's applicants see how antsy we were for decisions and when they were sent out. lol.

Did anyone here got their decisions on Saturday? If not, I'm betting that UChicago did not mail on Friday or earlier. I'm betting that mailing was Saturday--or more likely will be on Monday, Mar. 28.

that sounds reasonable. Illinois students would have received mail if it was mailed on Fri. or Thurs. However, UoC's stated desire to notify students before the Ivies would run into problems if it's mailed on Mon. considering that that the Ivies are online Thurs.

I don't remember any Illinois EA people getting their mail the next day...so it would not be unexpected for people to get it Monday or Tuesday.

sounds like someones already recieved their acceptance to UChicago, they say they "just heard back from" them.

nice. so that means they mailed them on Fri/thur? or was that guy lying?

have people gotten in already?

i am taking this as a no, no one has heard yet.

i guess i am bumping then...

got my decision in the mail today..
