<p>Ive heard that the magic number for northern va students is a 3.5, i checked my schools naviance (i live in northern va) and 60 out of 126 people got in last year, all but one had a gpa over 3.5. Im surprised though Meco, you have good stats.</p>

<p>Kindaslick your right. I was told if you are from Northern Va or a school that submits many applications, you are in direct competition with your classmates.
Last year the average GPA admitted from my school was 3.76 and 3.5 seemed to be the bottom gpa.</p>
<p>I applied for History, not Engineering or Architecture. I'm disappointed I really wanted to go here.</p>
