How many people are on a floor in the Wada res halls?

When do we find out which dorms are assigned to us?

End of May

Yes... it really is odd how priority housing is annoying at times when you'd rather just toss chance into the winds.

I ended up choosing Unit 1, in any case, the dorm that swayed me to Berkeley over my other schools.

has anyone lived in an all girls floor? hows it like?

I was just wondering what Stern is like. No one ever talks about it. When i visited, it seemed a lot closer to campus than the units.

Here's a quicky...

a friend of mine and I named each other as roomates (as done on the housing app), and our housing options are exactly the same. Does that mean we are both removed from the lottery, and put into our primary housing option?

No, i don't think so. I'm not sure how it works, but I don't think it's like that.

How stringent are the sound ordinances in the Unit buildings BTW?

it depends on how much of a hardass the RA's in your building are...but as long as you don't create so much noise that the floors above and below you are affected, you should be fine.

So, no 200 watt subwoofers?

Fall Extension students don't find out their housing until late July I think? Sometime in July. Since we are not guaranteed and even though they are projected to accommodate all of us, would you guys recommend looking for alt. housing before finding out?

Almost 99% of FPFs get housing, I talked to a housing counselor who told me the chances for a FPF to get housing for fall is almost guarenteed.

Yes, but I have to admit that I feel uneasy about a triple. SO I'm wondering if housing off campus is competitive enough to have to look early.

Housing in general is always competitive, off-campus for sure.

what on earth... i got stuck in a unit one triple! that wasn't even one of my 5 choices!

Unit 1 Triple. My last choice.

ok i really hope this isnt like UCLA where they ran out of rooms and started converting doubles to triples... suspiciously, everyone i've talked to has gotten a triple.

actually i believe the unit triples are the exact same size as the doubles...but with an extra bed crammed in. thats why they're 2000 bucks cheaper
