oh man... this is gonna suck.

Clark Kerr Triple... it wasn't even one of my choices!

Unit 1 Triple, my first choice

unit 2 triple, wasnt one of my choices.

Double room in suite at Clark Kerr - first choice

Grays, I feel ya, Clark Kerr triple.. it wasn't even one of my choices

Unit 1 Double, first choice.

Probably due to Regents. Sorry to those of you who got assignments you really didn't like.

Unit 2 Double, which was my first choice!

yey! I'm happy!:D

bowles quadruple

no poontang...kill me now! :(

CKC Triple. Ironic, because all the talk beforehand was about how Clark Kerr rooms are very difficult to get. It was my last choice!

Anyway, I marked on my survey that I preferred a "primarily quieter environment" over a "social environment." I'm not going to be put on a dead floor, am I? Of course I value studying but I was wondering about how extreme they were about placing people. If this is the case, would it be pointless to call and ask them about perhaps changing where I'm placed? Also, in the other thread someone mentioned that there won't be many freshmen with us in Clark Kerr. Is this true? From the sounds of it, many freshmen on this board alone got a contract for CKC.

got CKC Triple, fourth choice... hey it won't be that bad, the rooms are gigantic, so there will be room. unnecessarily hot, why would not many freshmen be put in at CKC? i hope this isn't true.

it's not true.

Unit 2 double. my second choice. sweet.

unit 1 double. i'm so surprised i got my first choice. and lucky, too, it would seem.

unit one triple! i dont know, im happy that i got unit one, but triple is just so small

There are some triples that were intended to be doubles, but far more rooms are doubles than triples. Most people I know live in doubles, few in triples.

I got triple in foothill. Are the triples at all bigger than the doubles.

the dimensions and the picture of a unit triple provided in the living@Cal pamphlet indicate that the triples are the same as doubles, only with an added bunk. DRab, are you saying that there are actually triples that were meant to be triples, and therefore bigger? that'd be awesome...

Y'know, I'm not sure. I imagine that they built some of the rooms with the possibility of converting them to have three occupants, but I might be wrong.
