Its great to know that no matter what happens with the rest of the schools that I applied to, I am already in to one of the best schools in the world. Congrats to those that got in. I have seen the stats of those that were rejected/waitlisted and I can say with honesty that you are an exceptional and amazing group of people. I have no idea how I got in and you didn't. Keep looking forward, I'm sure you have some good news on the way!</p>

Perhaps if I hadn't gotten a C+ in a book-reading class last spring or a C in English mid-semester (it'll be changed...but too late for admissions), things would be okay. Bs probably would have been acceptable enough, but the Cs dropped my GPA and class rank. ANYWAYS. Congrats to those who got in; enjoy your time if you go.</p>

Day and night, in terms of 3 key attributes: weather, prevalence of hot girls, and social life in general.</p>

<p>Actually, I think that type of quirky, intellectual, self depreciating atmosphere is perfect for me. At the same time Duke has its upsides, namely 1. the couches in the Bryan Center. 2. gondola cafe tables and 3. the work hard-play hard mantra. </p>

<p>My decision will probably hinge on financial aid.</p>
