I am the same way. Never have posted. Read it all the time. For some reason felt I should post tonight. Also wanted to thank that Duke guy who always is so helpful and always answers everybody’s questions. He help me a lot and I wanted to say thanks before I found out.

Yes I am talking about TopTier. He answers the same questions over and over. He is just direct. We all just want honest answers. We get sugar coated responces enough in life. He either works in admissions or has. I am not even sure if a man or woman. Remember he doesn’t get paid for any of this. I got into ND. Great school. But the CC posts where no where near as helpful because there was no person like Toptier from admissions on that chat. Anyway good luck.
To reiterate what @Jwest22 said in another post, the fact that guys have applied to duke means that your of a high caliber. This means that you will likely end up at SOME top schools. To be honest, many of the top schools are so similar that most people will feel comfortable wherever they go. That was the case for me last year. Best of Luck guys

@jwest22 no, I never even made any posts he could reply to. But some of his posts seem a bit categorical. Honesty’s good, but only when it’s fair. But I admit that he can be informative

@ANerdfighter You’re in the minority with those sentiments, my friend. Even as an alum, TopTier educated me on some things that I didn’t even know about Duke. And besides, when is being “direct” ever a bad thing?
