;) no problem, you'll love it

coldplay is amazing
"only superstition" is my favorite

60 hours and 34 minutes!!! That's only 218040 seconds left. One mississippi, two mississippi, three (you get the idea)

what's crazy is that it feels as if only yesterday there were a lot of days left, but now we're down to hours and the hours seem like days!

Amen to that.

what I did before admissions posted the decision was take a nap. I woke up right before they did and it wasn't as stressful because I wasn't concious beforehand to panic. ;)

I won't have to force myslef to take a nap. You see, i'm in india and duke's will come out when i am fast asleep. Ofcourse, the first thing i will touch after waking up will be the computer's 'ON' button!

i guess I'm lucky i have so much homework to do. . .should keep my mind off matters like this until i can actually check.

I guess it's a good thing that I have tap class that night, to get my mind off of being panicked. Of course, driving home under the speed limit might be hard to do :p

if it weren't for the internet, is it possible to be freaking out even more? cause then we'd find out even later cause online stuff doesn't exist. AND we can't talk to so many other applicants around the nation and world who r going through the same problems. WHO INVENTED THE INTERNET?? we need to make clones of him!

Gore invented the internet......

Well, what im doing to get my mind off of my probable rejection is going out with friends. Today i went to the beach with some friends and tomorrow i have homework and tomorrow night ill go to the movies and wednesday...ill be by my bestfriend waiting on the decision...so, i made my schedule panic free.

Watch out about the best friend thing--last year I was next to my best friend (who's first choice was Duke) when the Duke decisions were released and I got in and he didn't. That was a little awkward. I had thought he would get in too and then we could celebrate together, but oh well...he ended up at Dartmouth.

lol, thats weird...but, my best friend isnt going to Duke, she's more excited about the dreaded College of The Bahamas...

hehe. here's something to cheer everyone up!

correction: *whose

I didnt get that

lol...i had to look at it for about 2 minutes before i got it..i think the fish is being eaten...but its choking the bird to get free...and the title "dont ever give up" or whatever it was was complimenting the fact that the fish. eventho it was being eaten, still tried to defend itself.

While im in this thread, i wanna ask; does the financial information come with ur letter of admission?
