DS got into Ohio State University and Drexel so far. NEU is his #1 choice so hoping he hears good news tomorrow. I think Fordham is also sending out EA decisions tomorrow or in the very near future. Message on his University of Michigan portal says decisions for EA there will be released very soon, so make sure spam filters for UMich are turned off. Villanova says EA for them should come out tentatively December 20th. Quite an exciting few days ahead. Good luck everyone!

I am from the perspective that everything works out for the best in the end. When DD auditioned for music programs I was initially disappointed that she didn’t get her top choice, but looking back now (her senior year in college) I think she landed right where she needed to be. Trying to adopt that stance with my son as we go through another round of waiting to hear…

I AM SERIOUSLY FREAKING OUT I have an exam tomorrow from IB Eng and I can’t study at all because I’m so nervous. does anyone know what time I might receive my response I live in Hawaii? and are we going to receive them by email or through the portal? I can just feel that I am going to get deferred…

We are going to receive an email telling us to log into the portal to check their decision. Right now I am really scared and my mind if all over the place. Best to luck for everyone, I know most people are feeling the same way as me.

So far this is playing out exactly like last year, so no need to worry everyone. It should start releasing around 3 pm e.s.t. in the northeast and move west and everyone should have their decisions by 9 pm. I’m guessing for the midwest it will be around 7 or 8 based on last year.

“The application status check is currently unavailable. You will be notified of your decision by email.”

Now it just says call the help phone number for assistance.

I’m going to ignore what you said, because that obviously reflects on what kind of person you are. I am glad you are not going to be at northeastern with all of these great people on this thread.

everyone relax…if you don’t get in, you go someplace else. It really isn’t a big deal…I know that is hard to believe for some of you, but it’s true.

If someone already got in somewhere else ED, they should have withdrawn the NEU application. Nice that they would potentially take someone’s spot when they know they won’t be attending…

geeps— what are you talking about? We’re talking about not getting into the website, not about not getting into northeastern.

EDIT-- for the record, they don’t go back and admit EA people because an ED person dropped out. They factor that into EA decisions and admit accordingly.
