2010 SAT, 4.32 W GPA, and a bunch of pharmacy related ECs.
$8,000 Excellence Scholarship</p>

<p>2 of my friends got accepted into Pharm.D as well!</p>

<p>Deferred from Western NY, SATs 1910, average 93/100 (not sure what GPA is on a 4.0 scale). Decent ECs. 3 AP classes junior year and 3 more this year. Captain varsity soccer team. Hoping that sending 1st semester senior grades (which are good) and more information will make a difference with RD. NEU is my top choice. Already accepted at Ohio State (invited to apply to honors and scholars program) and Drexel. Really want to do NEU b/c of co-ops.</p>

29 ACT, 3.65 UW GPA, a gazillion ECs- focus on art, journalism, and communications

<p>The shocker is he got a $12,000 Excellence Scholarship and another $9000 in grant aid, which seems a lot given what I am seeing on this thread. The only thing I can think of is he has been working 10 hrs/week at the grocery store consistently since 10th grade. NEU must put a lot of stock in that.</p>

<p>Congrats to all who were accepted! If I am correct, I have not seen one denial in this thread. My D was deferred, so this worries me a little. I feel like there are going to be massive denials come RD announcements. If anyone knows where I can find info on statistics from last year on how many deferrals were accepted later please let me know. Its not on their common data set.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t worry so much. People are much more likely to report good news than bad. And out of the thousands who applied, how many are actually reporting here? Too small a sample to draw any conclusions. Good luck with RD!</p>
