<p>I have like no idea how in the world to stand out in the regular pool. I’ll probably get a rejection in the end though. I know my GPA, UW and W is going up by the time mid year reports come in. Will that help, along with more community service hours?</p>

<p>^ blabla5, if it only mentions 15k of merit scholarship money, I’d expect there to be a separate need-based aid offer somewhere down the line. I’m no expert, though, so I’d call the admissions/FA office soon!</p>

<p>Question D has not gotten her email yet but I was thinking her app fee shows posted as of Nov 5 even though I paid it on the first. Do you think they pushed her to RD?</p>

<p>Longsx3, all of my application materials were posted after the Nov 1 deadline - I think it takes them a few days to process everything. The App Portal still has me listed as an EA applicant, so I’d look for that designation to be certain.</p>

<p>Hi! I just got accepted from New Jersey. I was accepted into the College of Engineering with the Connections Scholarship. My combined GPA is a 3.91 and my GPA last year was a 4.16. I took AP Biology and AP Spanish Language last year and got a 5 on both. My grades are As and ** in Honors and AP classes. My combined SAT 2180, Math 740 Reading 720 Writing 720. Math 1 SAT II 720, Spanish SAT II 730, Biology SAT II 700. I am also captain of the varsity tennis team and am a member of my schools Honors Choir, as well as part of the Asian Cultural Club. I hope this was helpful to everyone!</p>

<p>I was accepted into the College of Science for Psychology!!! white female from Jersey, ACT score of 29 composite, GPA weighted 4.03, 4 AP classes total (chem, stat, english, psychology) All other classes honors, National Honor Society, top 15% of my class, National Chinese Honor Society for 3 years, lots of EC awesome recommendations from my two time English teacher and Chemistry teacher… Northeastern’s stats for admitted students from my high school are an average GPA of 3.77, ACT 28, and roughly a 40% acceptance rate each year. Hope this was helpful to some people!! GOOD LUCK and can’t wait to see some of you next year!!!</p>
