(official?) EA THREAD!

Please, let's not do that =/ we're nervous wrecks enough as it is without betting on each others' chances :(

True. But it's always nice to see if you predicted correctly. I know who I'm predicting, but if you don't want me to post it around, I won't. It isn't like betting anyway, because nothing's at stake for a wrong guess. Besides, there's a reason that we are not the admissions department for MIT, so the guesses, and I stress, guesses, mean nothing. Comes down to acceptance, or...not.
I see where your coming from, though.

i have some crazyass MIT adcom news (well it pertains basically only to me) and i'm not sure if its good or bad...if you wanna know PM me because I'm too scared to post up here in case the same adcoms are reading this...

Hmm, then I'm sorry. I meant it (the predictions) more as a joke than anything... but you're right, it has the potential to do more harm than good.

Yea, I know. I wasn't taking it horribly seriously - nor am I upset by them; but let's not blow up people's hope or put down anyone's chances at such a sensitive time. :)

Let's face it. Applying to a school with, what is it, an 11% acceptance rate and hoping to get in really is getting your hopes up. I mean that in the most non-offensive way possible, but, seriously, it is, somewhat luck of the draw, with so many qualified applicants....

We can always cross our fingers and hope december 15th happens to be our lucky day

Agreed.

::crosses fingers::

only 2 weeks away. What's really bothering me is that they haven't recieved my EC's interview report...

LSA - you totally made my day lol

uh-oh. Did you call them and/or fill out a conducted-interview report?

Hey I didn't fill out the conducted-inerview report but it still says they got my interview...huh?

NO NO... that's only for the people who've HAD an interview but their EC has not submitted a report.

pebbles, i would like to talk to you on AIM because you seem cool. please IM me (SN is on profile :) )

you all guys have rocking scores. i wouldnt reveal much(since i dont have much things to reveal). but my sat score is not even close to 1300. so cheers, you guys have way better chances than me .. craB

lol sorry no aim :P

And dreaming -

SAT scores schmesaytee scores, MIT looks at people, not sets of numbers. If you have strong academics, you have just a good a chance as the rest of us with our snobby 1500s. :)
