Hi all! In-state applicant from a suburban school in SE Michigan. Applying to LSA, and everything was received by the University today. (Got recommendations at the end of last year.) Good luck to all!

^ Wow! Good luck!

I’m also from in-state, Oakland County. I submitted my online app to the School of Nursing but I am waiting on my school to process my transcript request and send out my letters of rec. Does anyone have an idea how soon we might know our admissions decisions if we apply before the second week in Sept?

They start releasing decisions Oct 31st. Since you’re apply mid September, you have a good chance of hearing back around October 31st, although it also depends on whether you’re clear cut for UMich, or borderline.

At least this was how it was last year. It could be different this year.

New Yorker here.
Public Magnet School
Roughly top ten percent

Michigan resident. Public magnet school. I plan on submitting my application sometime before October 31st. Applying to LSA, specifically, RC. Prospective majors: political science, public policy, history, international relations.

Based on previous trends, yosup is right. If you’re submitting in early to mid September, you can expect to hear back in early November. I know for a fact that I’d love to start November with an acceptance at hand. On the flip side, I’d also hate having to do the rest of my app having been rejected once already.

I’ve submitted my application but I’m waiting for my teachers and my counselor to hurry their recommendations and transcripts and stuff.

Anyway, is there no one else here applying for Ross PA?

I’m an international student but I attended the Ann Arbor public schools since elementary year. I would be applying to LSA in the next 2 weeks hopefully.

Minnesota resident, below average stats, killer essays, legacy. LS&A

OOS (Texas) resident here and I’m about done with my app, but I was wondering, what is this “Preferred admit” stuff? I plan on majoring in EE so I wouldn’t really want to apply to either of the programs (school of information and something else), right?

I’m from Connecticut. Applying to the School of Engineering. Hopefully I will submit my application soon, I just need to get my transcripts and recommendations all lined up.
