^ haha oh gosh. I JUST had a notification dream as well. For some reason I was accepted into UPenn but did not hear from Rice yet…wish it was the other way around!

i totally had a notification dream last night too… Lets just say it wasnt a good dream. Hopefully real life is better

I’m sure it’s just stress.
I, too, think we’ll hear today.
Best of luck to everyone!

Ya I’ll be checking cc periodically from my phone so post when decisions are out :)

Goodluck to everyone as well!

I’m so nervous and anxious!! I keep refreshing esther lol

Good luck, everyone!

Something new:
“Student Financial Services” now shows up under the Main Menu when you log into Esther. You used to have to do a search for Finanicial Aid to find out your aid status.
Other than that…tick, tick, tick…

Has anyone else gotten a Student Financial Services link on their Esther account? It popped up on mine but doesn’t say anything- it’s just a bunch of dead links. I’m starting to freak out a little since last year’s accepted students were given their financial aid awards this way.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

I have that too! I sure hope it means something good :)

We did not apply for financial aid and don’t see the link…but a link on that same page :
Rice/Baylor application checklist: suddenly appeared today? It is a pdf

has anyone not gotten the financial aid links?

Ricefan: Did you apply to the Rice/Baylor program?
We did not and we dont see that link, so I’m not worried about it.

Yes we submitted an app for Rice/Baylor.
But no financial aid link yet

If you didn’t apply for financial aid, you may not see that link.

Yeah, I have the financial aid link on my esther page…I believe that this shows that they are setting up to get ready to send out the notifications (and enable those dead links for those who are accepted)…

"If you didn’t apply for financial aid, you may not see that link. "
Maybe, but one would still need a link to pay the bill so to speak. I am guessing financial services would be the link

Ricefan: Not necessarily. There’s nothing in it for paying bills.

I just noticed that the silly parking link is gone.

So…is the student financial services link not an indication of acceptance? If I recall from last year’s forum it was.

^^It probably will be once those dead links are enabled and you can actually view your eligibility and the cost of attendance.
