Since the ED II decisions may be out as early as tomorrow evening (online), I wanted to start the ED II Decision thread. After writing accepted, deferred, or rejected, give some information about your background so that next year's applicants can learn from our decision outcomes.

Provide such information as SAT I/ ACT scores, SAT II Scores (if applicable), GPA, extracurricular activities, hooks (if any), and state (and type of school) in which you live. Good luck everyone and I hope we hear tomorrow (Thursday)!!!

rejected... 1480/800/770/680....and it was the 33% class rank that caused this dang rejection - i also did biochemistry research along with a slue of ECs.

My daughter logged on to her status page on the Wash U Website, clicked on the "see your letter" thingy and saw her acceptance letter (Arts and Sciences).

As for stats, her SAT is 1490, she'd completed 7 APs (5 5's and 2 4's), and ECs are mostly lots of community service.

YAY! I'm so very very excited! Congrats to all!

I'm so sorry bluetypo and aceestrin. That really stinks.

mm bluetypo, I think you can call the admissions officer or email one of the officers to find out what they think you need to improve. Like, for example, your SATs need to be brought up or your recommendation wasn't so great. Then to fix it you can take the SAT over again or get a great recommendation from someone else.

I'm not sure if this is really correct, but check out the deferred stuff that CC has. There's articles about it and everything else.

i applied to arts and sciences (for chemistry). congratz everyone else! i'll probably end up goin to wash u for grad school - i won't slack my grades in college like i did in hs :-p
