Haha really? What are your stats? I knew the program was competitive before I applied, but I guess I didn’t understand to what extent. Is it true they only take 30 kids per class?

(Those last 4 are school awards, so not really “prestigious” on a national/state level, but a big deal in my school)

Umm, I have over 900 hours of community service since 6th grade, through multiple organizations I’m involved in, specifically a Community Theater in my town, but nothing major came from them (ie awards/recognitions)

Does anyone think it’s safe to say we’ll find out before next Saturday (February 7th)?

Oh man I’ve been counting on finding out on the 6th (Thursday). If it’s any later than that I might pull my hair out! Going by past ED II threads, the 6th seems to be a safe bet.

Are any of you sending a midyear report?

I’m almost certain it will be released sometime during the actually week, and not on the weekend (the Office of Admission is closed). They informed us a couple of days before the send-out date when we would receive the decision, and I would assume they’re going to do the same for ED2 students.

Good luck to you all, and Raise High!

Admissions just tweeted; it’s next week for sure!

@Nyr1996 My school is sending out midyear grades for everyone on Monday. I doubt mine will have any effect on GW.

Do we have to send one at all? I know it was mentioned on the website but I’ve also heard you don’t have to send it unless the school actually reaches out to you.

It doesn’t show on the credential checklist on the application status check website so I don’t think it is necessary.

ED1 students do not have to, and I’m pretty sure the same is applicable to ED2 students—considering decisions are already made.

Someone asked this on Twitter for ED applicants/acceptees, and the admissions account replied that it is not required. Only the final report from the end of the year is required…unless they for some reason specifically reach out to you for one.

Is this the only DC school you guys applied to? Or did some of you guys also apply to Georgetown and/or American?

I also applied to American as well as Maryland (not DC but close enough)

I applied to Georgetown EA, but now GW is my #1 so, woohoo!
