i think they were sent first class. wich is what i think stohare or sum1 told me but im not 100% on that. yeah…what other colleges r u all applyin to?

my LSP letter was sent first class mail.

rfk what were ur main stats?

and does it look bad if i took reduced day to take calculus 2, 3 and 4 at a CSU? the college classes dont go ON my transcript for my midyear report, but on my common app, i wrote it in place of reduced day.

GPA: 3.54uw, 3.9w
SAT: 2090 CR(710) M(700) W(680)
SAT II: Bio m(750) US History (730)
Applied ED to CAS, got LSPd

Got the letter on the 8th, it was postmarked the 5th. I live in Philadelphia.

What is this…‘reduced day’ phenomenon that you speak of?

@baby

do you get college credit at the CSU?
can you produce a transcript?

a bold prediction, but im saying letters for NJ residents will arrive over the weekend

so you guys think LSP acceptance is over? or is there still more to come…

any internationals???

raises hand

haha, i think applicants in the Northeast may hear back by monday at latest

All of this waiting is making me exhausted… I check my mail. I check cc. I try to be pessimistic. I try to be optimistic ( I haven’t decided which one is best yet). And I try to get NYU and the next 4 years out of my mind. Just tiring.

word man word

Yeah. AND DECISIONS DIDN’T EVEN COME OUT YET. I can’t imagine what will happen when we get 'em.

It’ll be a ****show. Sorry, but the forum practically melted down last spring. . . hence the write up in NYULocal about it.

I came home today from school, and there was a letter in a thin envelope on the counter. I was down the hall took one glance at it, and ignored it. I read that NYU acceptances were in a larger, manila sized envelope, so I didn’t want any part of it. I ignored it for as long as I could until my mom said “You have a letter here for you”

“Who’s it from mom?”

“University At Buffalo”

My heart was doing backflips until she said that. It was just another “We received your application, please send transcripts and sat scores as soon as possible” letters. -___-

i feel ya nysurf…

Not only is this forum making me not feel like the only anal retentive, obsessive compulsive, neurotic NYU applicant.
It’s also giving me one hell of a chuckle.
Anyone else here apply ED for Clive Davis?
I’m wondering what the applicant pool was like there, not of course to add one more thing to my list of statistics and potentials in my head telling me every reason why or why not I’ll get accepted.
No, not at all.
shakes his head violently and returns to staring at the mailbox

nysurf: I had that same feeling when I got that same type of letter mailed to me from NYU.

concordflight: I really hate these statistics now…gah. I hope when they say holistic they mean holistic and it’s not just something that’s politically correct.

@rfk392

those stats are more than qualified for CAS! How did you get LSP’ed? did you have good ec’s, essays, and recommendations?
