NYU doesn’t send Email anythings-- It’s all mail based, so I would definitely call the admissions office and see what that’s about.</p>

<p>television shows increase student INTEREST in a school or location, but it very rarely translates into actual, noticeable increases in the number of applications. we studied this in one of my audience theory classes. because let’s be honest. . . if they’re choosing a school based on a TELEVISION SHOW, are they really going to have the numbers to back it up?</p>

Actually the Nelly Furtado thing did have to do with NYU (babygrl asked what type of music future (possible) NYU’rs were interested in) but, your right, it doesn’t really go with the topic of this thread… sorry But I’m sure that if you had any questions related or un-related to the topic of this thread everyone would do their best to help you… so please don’t be mad that we got off topic …
