Deferred :-(

Unweighted GPA: 3.78
Essay was normal
Recs were probably normal (as in positive recs I can only guess…)
Interview went normal… wasn’t a great bonding, but I did tell her what I liked about Wash U. and pretty much an autobiography of my life…

Ethnicity: Asian
Gender: Male
State: Illinois
School type: Medium sized public; about 1400

I’m not going to pretend to know what the strengths of my app were cause apparently they didn’t overcome the weaknesses. But I do think that a main reason I was waitlisted was cause my junior year… was absolutely awful. I had a 4.0 before junior year and received 8 Bs over 2 semesters last year. I suppose I deserved it cause I was the role model of laziness and depression. I haven’t heard back from any of my other schools which include Rice, Vandy, UNC, William & Mary, and UIUC. Pretty much all I did to show interest was ED, go to Discovery Weekend (for free), and interview.

Sorry if this is long, I just sort of pasted my resume.

How did you hear already
