JuiceboxHero...did you show interest in Emory..like ordering their DVD or visiting before applying??

Oh yes..
My essay is really good, the Why Emory one..
I ordered their DVD.
I called and e-mailed my admissions lady 5 times (roughly). She knows and remembers my name.

Does anyone have concrete stats or anything?

hmmm...maybe your GPA got in the way of your great std. test scores....I heard Emory looks more at GPA than at std. tests

naptown06, did you get your acceptance today in the mail?

no i got mine on monday, i did not expect to get in after being rejected from chicago and georgetown so i was freaking out when i got the package, i could tell what it was because of everyone else's description of it..i walked around the rest of the day with the stupidest grin on my face!

If I haven't gotten a letter yet, does that indicate that I got rejected?

Someone checked the database for me and said that my name wasn't on there. I am really worried. Is there any chance that maybe they didn't enter all the names in the database or that your name doesn't get inputed until after you log in?

"hmmm...maybe your GPA got in the way of your great std"

??????

Standardized tests= std. tests

Note the period to indicate shortening.

Otherwise, I would like to note that life is nothing but a sexually transmitted disease in and of itself.
