<p>Anyone else from California? There are 72 of us applying ED so…</p>

<p>Last year, there were 785 ED1 applications, and 488 were accepted…that’s 62%. Wow. </p>

<p>ED2 was 222/880, which is about 25%. Regular decision was 3980/16040, which is also about 25%.</p>

<p>If we assume that they’ll accept around 500 kids from the ED1 group…that puts all at around 45% acceptance rate.</p>

<p>You guys think it’s at all possible to get the decision results before December 15? On the Emory update it says that the results will be released BY December 15 (so before it is a possibility). I’ve heard a couple of people saying that the results have come 3-4 days before the stated date for the past couple of years.</p>

<p>Haha tyrtle I keep on emailing Jessica(nj admissions counselor) and hoping that she would reveal any clues for my decision. So far no luck. I asked her if first marking period grades are required because it doesnt say so on the website. And shes like if you want you can send them in tomorrow. So this might mean that emory accepted or flat out rejected me because if i was borderline, then they would have required me to send it and would have asked my school directly. </p>
