I have a feeling that tomorrow might quite possibly be the day. I really hope it is. They don’t really have a reason to make us wait since tuesday and wednesday are both weekdays.

i hope tomorrow is the day. who knows, though. i got my acceptance decision to ut-austin at 11:29 on a sunday night. talk about weird timing.

what are you guys looking to major in?

Econ.
10char

accounting !

good stuff! biology major over here.

^ see your a biology major so you’ll get in and get out in 2 years … I have to go for a year then transfer into accounting … frkn LAME ! That is the reason why Emory is my safety school … not willing to spend 3 years at a University … although my first choice is a 2 years and + 1 semester so I guess same crap …

that sounds rough. is there a way around that situation? or is pretty much etched in stone? what other schools have you applied to?

its etched in stone … =[ I got into Pepperdine full ride I’m just waiting on Emory which should have been last friday then Boston College CSOM by May 31st then my first choice USC =] June 1st … sigh … such a long wait … but USC I need to stay 2 Years + 1 sem because i need to transfer over to a different school within the school lol x]

Hello ALL!
I’ve been checking my mail, email, and OPUS like a mad man. The inner psycho in me is coming out and I don’t like it one bit!

I don’t blame you newleaf

@emersongarcia - If I get into Emory, I hope to join their BBA program and get concentrations in Accounting and Finance in addition to a major in Computer Science.

@Transfer20I3- I totally see where you’re coming from. But that’s why I’m applying as an incoming sophomore (I’m currently a freshman). I’ll spend one year at College of Arts and Sciences because it’s required, and then spend 2 more years at their Business school.

@ tranfer: you applied to some excellent schools! that pepperdine free ride has got to be at least somewhat enticing, no? i mean, unless you plan to get similar financial aid awards for the other schools you applied to.

@esai: that’s pretty cool. guessing you want to work in finance at some point, or is it just for diversity purposes?

Guess I was completely wrong about today. Well, tomorrow it is!

I think I have something new in my student center. When you guys log in to OPUS, do you see a “Billing/account inquiry” link?

I really don’t remember that being there before.

@SAT100: I have the same thing

@emersongarcia - Just for diversity Although I don’t think I would mind working in the finance sector.

Btw, SAT100, I see the Billing Account inquiry link too. And I don’t think it was there before.

I checked my opus, and I see a new item in the to do list.

Apparently, they don’t have my parents’ signatures on the income tax return even though I had my parents sign everything…

I really hope this doesn’t affect my Financial Aid greatly, if it does at all.

I think a Housing/Dining linked just showed up for me…or was it always there? I don’t have a billing account link however. :/

@ThaMan - Interesting! I don’t have a Housing or Dining link.

The billing account link we are talking about is right under the heading, “Finances” and under the sub-heading, “My account”.

I think the ‘Housing/Dining’ link was always there. You mean the one under ‘Emory Links’ section on the bottom right of OPUS main menu right?

Just a few more hours till we find out!

I don’t see the billing account inquiry either :/

I dont even have a sub-heading “my account” under “Finances”. Sigh*
