Congrats transfer217! I wonder if they’ll release the Decision before May 1st. I really really hope so :(

Thanks leeg92. I hope they do decide before May 1st. My counselor said late April/early May, but the website says May 1st. They should hurry up, because I have to make a deposit to Vandy by May 8th!

Dino,

I’m not a conditional transfer. I will find out May 1st if I am in. If I do get accepted I intend to be a NBB major.

I have received an email stating:

“This email is a reminder that you currently have outstanding items that affect your financial aid status for the 2012-2013 award year.
We need additional information before your award can be finalized or disbursed.
Outstanding items may delay your aid award or loan disbursement. Your application will be reviewed after all required documents have been received.
Your file must be complete before an accurate financial aid award can be determined and disbursed. Documents received after published due dates may negatively impact institutional grant eligibility. Listed below are documents needed at this time to complete your file.”

I’ am wondering if I got accepted because of “We need additional information before your award can be finalized or disbursed.” However, cannot say anything because of “Your application will be reviewed after all required documents have been received.” But I had received a mail from Emory that my application is complete and ready for review on 3/22.
So I don’t know what is going on?

Zain, let me know if you get in! We should try and get a group of NBB transfers together before classes start.

I got into Vanderbilt as well and I’m so anxious to hear back from Emory. Vandy didn’t give me as much financial aid as I had hoped for, so I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll get into Emory and get better aid! Good luck to everyone! :)

I’m a bit worried about Emory’s FA. My younger sister was admitted as a freshman, but Emory did not give much FA compared to other colleges :(

Oh no! Ahhh…well I guess we should both just stay hopeful. And I hope they release the decisions sooner than May 1st! I’m checking OPUS constantly…

Dino,

That would be awesome. I will def let you know if I get in and decide to attend. It really is a unique program, and it is the side of neuroscience that really attracts me.

Anyone else’s OPUS login not working? Tried mine this evening and it isn’t letting me sign in. I even copy and pasted the thing, but it still said “Invalid ID/password.” :/

You have to actually type it out, it won’t accept a copied/pasted password. :)

@transfer217. What did you hear about Vanderbilt’s treatment of its transfer students. I’ve applied too, and I want to know.

Accepted! Yay! I hope all of you got good news as well. :)

Wait, how did you hear back? Opus? Oh im so anxious now…

E-mail/OPUS. The e-mail I got just said that the decision was up online. Good luck!

Oh okay! Thank you and Congrats!!! (:
