Official Emory Transfer Thread 2012

<p>For those of you who got in, what were your stats? I want to transfer for Spring 2013!</p>

<p>i applied to emory as a incoming junior and was accepted for fall 2012<br>
poli sci/ international affairs double major - 3.9 college gpa ( 70 credits)
state university in florida
4.3 hs gpa ( graduated top 4%)
ive worked for the chair of the democratic party, the florida supreme court and i studied abroad in firenze, italia for a semester
president of 3 clubs in h.s
leadership in 6 clubs
miss teen haiti / miss teen miami runner up
chrous for 4 years/ church choir in college </p>

<p>some leadership involvement in my college but not a whole ton like h.s</p>

<p>african american female
sats not stellar ( 1800 range) </p>

<p>Emory’s a great school that really takes into account the applicant as a whole so dont worry if your not “perfect” at everything !

<p>Paid my deposit for fall 2012 about a week ago, so Im in there!!</p>

<p>2)has anyone who has paid the deposit gotten anything from housing or been assigned an adviser?? and for those who want to live on campus, where and why??</p>
