I’m really more nervous about the financial aid decision than the actual acceptance. I’m guessing that since I was accepted as a freshman and have a 4.0 and tons of campus involvement for my freshman year, I should get re-accepted. I’m just worried about the aid, because that determines whether or not I get to go, and I’ve heard that transfers usually don’t get as much as freshmen.

Neuro/Biology/Sociology. @transferr2014 I’m going to be working for Michelle Nunn’s US Senate campaign this summer!

@aleyna22 I am sorry to confirm but when I talked to a fin aid counselor she informed me that the aid you receive is less than what the Fin Aid Calculator tells you it will be even if you click on the transfer applicant option. If you have not used it already here is the calculator: <a href=“Net Price Calculator”>Net Price Calculator, this should give you a rough idea of the aid you should receive but again the actual numbers should be lower

Does anyone know what time decisions will be released on Wednesday?

I just got an email (which appeared to be a mass email) from Emory informing that the decisions will be available via OPUS Student Center after 3:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 30.

Good Luck to everyone! :)>-

Umm OPUS is still telling me that they’re missing my IDOC packet…whut?

Financial aid. Apparently it’s a new form you must do. Really annoying…Just go to the fin. aid office website and they’ll explain what to do I guess, but it seems tedious.

It’s telling me my login info is invalid. Guess that means they’re updating the system!

Alright guys here we go! Im pretty sure I’m getting rejected because of my low gpa but its still pretty exciting. Good luck!

@transferr2014 What is your GPA?

Same. Login info invalid. Fingers crossed, guys.

@HopefulScholar64 3.6-3.65

Accepted!

Accepted

Accepted to the Emory College. :)

It still says my decision isn’t available, even though I applied by the priority date. Why??

And I don’t have any outstanding items on my to-do list…

Accepted, sophomore transfer - HS WGPA 4.7; 9 APs, college GPA 3.9. 31 ACT, high SAT2s.
(also accepted to WashU). I was waitlisted RD last year to Emory.
Congrats Sammy and all - what are you going to choose or are you still waiting for others?

@2cents4u – I was accepted with 3.41 GPA! haha! But I think I will end up choosing Michigan over Emory (since it’s 4-5k cheaper as well). I am still trying to decide though, and am also waiting to hear from other colleges. Somehow NYU is not moving with my application :(

Which one are you choosing – WUSTL or Emory?

Has anyone already received their financial aid award? Mine hasn’t shown up.
