What does point of view have to do with the DBQ? I thought I had to answer the question with specific reasons and add outside knowledge + documents to support my response. At least, that’s what I did last year with the APUSH DBQ.

<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board;

did anyone show change over time?

I did within my paragraphs, not really deliberately though.

I know that this is kind of late lol…like 3 pages later but to Booooo’s earlier question, as long as you just misinterpreted 1 document and no more, you’re good. You can still get a 9 on your DBQ.
And I didn’t talk about support/against…since I thought it wa asking about the factors an not the opinion
I’m 99% sure I got a 9 on my DBQ since I always do but as for the rest of my test…

I grouped my things by initial optimism, subsequent discontent, rise of the Nazis. Chronological and organized.

I thought the MC was OK. I looked up the answers to the ones I was unsure of and got only one wrong . I omitted like 3. The DBQ was *****. I didn’t know what to put for thesis, so I just said: these people believed this for this reason, group b believed this for this reason. Blah. Five pages for the DBQ, three pages for essay 6, 3 for essay 4.

I took the exam on May 7th. I’m in China. It’s now May 9th. My embargo is lifted.

Alright. So my groupings were:

Reformer/Monarchists
Moderates (those who believed in things like have a northern Italian kingdom, etc)
Foreign opinion (British journalist/Pope/Napoleon III)
Those against unification.

I discussed the POV of Pope, Cavour, Garibaldi and Napoleon III. I used 10/12 documents.

I did essay 4 and 6. For essay 4, I separated it into two categories: Secularism and Classical values. I tried to include individualism, wrote half a paragraph, and discovered that I didn’t have that much to work with, so I scrapped that whole paragraph. For essay 6, I think I did a little better. I just separated Locke and Newton into two paragraphs and discussed the political and scientific influence on the Enlightenment.

umm, alrischa I think we took a different test because that wasn’t our DBQ prompt

yeah alrischa u dont have the same test as us…that wasn’t our DBQ

not sure lol it was tough!!!

The Multiple CHoice was very difficult compared to other practice tests. i left out 6 and idt i did VERY well. from where you stand it looks like you did very well because it seems like you know what you’re talking about! lol.
The DBQ was simple in my opinion and i did essays 3 and 5 which i thought werent TOO bad

i think i got like 55/80 right at least i hope!, like a 6 or 7 on the DBQ, a 7 or 8 on the protestant essay and like a 5 or a 6 on the one with russia and the ottomans
and im pretty sure thats enough for a 5, But does anyone know if the curve for a 5 will be more lenient this year ! because the exam was so difficult!!!

well we really arent supposed to talk about it untill the embargo is up, but I’ll just say i did it nothing like that !
the question involved something totally different. we will talk around like 4 cuz then the embargo is up! alrite? maybe it was a different essay…

What was a really bad idea?

I just did it really differently than that :/

How accurate is this score calculator?

[AP Pass - AP Euro Calculator](AP European History Test Score Calculator - AP Pass)

I have a strong feeling that it is way too lenient. Doesn’t it usually take 122 points to get a 5?

It depends on this years curve

@kellogg0, it’s fairly accurate. You need ~60% to get a 5, give or take.

hmmm. I’m assuming that 60% would signify getting about 48 MC questions right and getting a 6-6-6 on the essays? Also, how do you think the curve will turn out this year? I did notice that last year had a noticeably higher number of ppl getting a 5 than in previous years.

I screwed up with the FRQ- I made two major errors about what Zwingli and Calvin believed about state-church separation. I didn’t know so I made a guess about their beliefs and turned out to be wrong (but I was right about the anabaptists and Luther lol) What’s the highest I could get on this 1.5 page essay. (4?)

does anyone remember the conquestor or textile question?

who skipped the last 5 questions?

And was the last question A?
