Official European History AP Exam Discussion 2010

But none of the documents mentioned the war guild cause…? How could you write the essay on that then…?

like 3 of them do (not directly), the only one i can remember is the cartoon

i think

The Clause can be considered “outside historical information,” or whatever CB calls it, RAlec. I incorporated quite a bit of information, in hopes that I can get that expanded core point. Heck, I even mentioned Bismarck a couple of times.

Would this grouping make any sense?
Socialist Contribution
Liberal Contribution
Nazi Contribution
to the fall of the republic
:/

if I used lets say 8 documents would that have been sufficient? What about 7? I really didn’t count how many i used. I used (at least I think) atleast 3 docs per paragraph, but i think i repeated once.

Well, technically, we can discuss the exam free-response section now.

my groups for the dbq were the presence of radical factions within the republic, the rise to power of hitler and the nazis, and the feeling of just wanting peace/being tired after the war which led citizens to not really fight the rise of hitler/radical factions. did anyone else do a grouping similar to my last one? i wasn’t sure if it was a legitimate group…kinda bs’d it at the last minute. and pov was really difficult! one of mine was that the guy had written his observations in a diary which i said proved that he wasn’t lying. ugh. mc was really easy though.

Would my groupings be ok if I used all but 1 of the docs, analyzed POV in 4 docs, and had 4 groupings? My groupings were Democratic Party, Social Democrat/Nazi Party, Writers/Novelists, and Women. I talked about what each group thought was wrong with the Weimar Republic.

What was the deal with that woman who praised the freedoms she had?

Wasn’t that basically a non-factor, as she failed to acknowledge that there was instability?

Can anyone help me remember the whole list of FRQs? (Or even just one or two…) As close as possible to the exact wording, please!

<a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board;

for the women dbq, i wrote that there was biasism in her speech becasue she was blind folded by the instabiliy becasue of her granted sufferage, i jsut threw that out there

WOW the questions are already out !

I did these groups:

Nazis
People opposed to such sudden change
People with no belief in the Weimar Republic
People predicting/scared of a Marxist/proletariat revolution

I think I did 5 POV/Bias (Docs 3, 5, 7, 8, 11). I think I used all the documents (except maybe #4; I’m not sure if I used that one).

Do you think they will mark off for my prompt #3 because I only talked about Lutheran and Calvinism?

For prompt 3, I talked about the difference between Protestant tolerant states (England & France) versus non-tolerant ones (Spain & Holy Roman Empire). Is that good enough or did I totally screw it up?

Zhang, what did you talk about because I think I might have done the same.

I did:

 1. Luther - Peasant Revolt
 2. Luther - Papal Infallibility (Diet of Worms) + Calvin - Noble Elite
 3. Politiques - Henry of Navarre (Henry IV) + Elizabeth I

But the 3rd was pretty off-topic.

damn cant wait to get these back! wonder what i got

I cannot possibly wait until the third week of July for my scores. Oh, the pain. Oh, the agony. Oh, the cruel suffering!

I’m kind of baffled about the discussion of groups in this topic. The question basically asked one to analyze the factors (causes) of instability in the Weimar Republic.

I easily outlined an essay and decided to use these factors: Germans’ blame on politicians, the flaws of the Weimar constitution, political violence, and the rise of the Nazis.

I still can’t believe how hard those FRQ choices were. Angrily mutters
