i’m doing like 100 words max for resume. not done with my essay. wrote like 3 drafts a few wks ago and didn’t look at em again till yesterday. all of em suck so i have to rewrite all day today and tommorrow

Does anyone know if they want it all by 11:59 on Sunday, or by midnight tonight? I have a final version, but I don’t like it very much. Gonna try to crap another one out. :|

it’s due sunday 11:59 PM, i hope. i’m gonna try and type up a “final” draft, however, in the next 90 minutes and paste on the berkeley site jsut in case

same here, i really really really need the extra day…no way i can put something there that won’t result in me getting rejected…so with 15 minutes left, i’m gonna give up on my frantic writing and rewriting for the last 45 minutes…and just hope it’s due tomorrow before midnight

you know how it says you can update your app even after the deadline but they cant guarantee that revisions will be reviewed?? what the heck does that even mean.

Will they just disregard the submission you make after the deadline and only view what you wrote up to Jan 31st?

And i hate how you cant have a review of what you wrote in the berkeley apps because Im afraid to click in and review it and jeopardize my submission time.

I think what they mean is that you can still make changes to your application, but there’s no guarantee that they’ll see it. So if you can make changes after the deadline before they review your application, you’re good. If you make changes after deadline and after they review your application already, tough luck.

yea, like knightofwolf said, i think it just means they’ll accept whatever the last thing you uploaded was when they print out and review your application, but if there are changes afterwards, they probably won’t be looked at…

i submitted at 11:59:46 PM, barely in time! lol, though it’s really not a good essay…while my first two essays aren’t great, they’re decent, so i think i’m just going to aim for not getting rejected for my 3rd essay and to just make sure it’s acceptable while hope that my first two essays help me get in…i’m also probably gonna update my 3rd essay again tomorrow to further this goal lol

I just noticed a few typos in my resume…should i risk it and correct them and click submit!!! I dont want to risk my submisssion date/time though :*( so should i just leave it alone?

im just being paranoid because the following two statements are so contradicting…

“This form must be completed and submitted online by January 31, 2010; failure to do so will jeopardize your chances for admission.”

“The check mark means your forms were submitted and received. You may continue to make additions and corrections to your forms after the deadline; however, we cannot guarantee that your revisions will be reviewed.”

The two statements do not contradict each other. What it is saying is that you have to submit something. After, you can revise it, but there are no garuantees it will be seen.

well, if it makes you feel better, i just noticed that somehow a word got deleted from when i copied from document, pasted into field, and submitted the form…so i just went in and changed it…now says Last updated: 2/1/2010 12:44:24 AM …but i don’t think it’ll matter…
