<p>@boozlec3 I was under review for exactly 3 weeks (since 5/12).</p>
<p>Thanks guys, and I was lucky, I slipped in just as they started to review applications, so I was only at “currently reviewing” status for a day.</p>
<p>stats were: Music Major (Musical Theater) changing majors, 3.2 overall for freshman year with a 3.6 second semester. TONS of EC’s (success in my field) good essay, letters of rec’s. I was keeping my fingers crossed that they didn’t make it all about gpa, but they do 
Now I don’t know if I should go to ACC and try again or if it just won’t matter. Thinking about Trinity. I was at OCU and it is just such a performing arts school that I want something with a better reputation for other things. I am pretty sure I want to end up in Computer Science and probably go for an MBA. Sorry probably more info than you wanted :)</p>

<p>Just finished my mini-course! My GPA is now a 3.52!!! I applied with 27 hours and a 3.2. Gonna send in my updated transcript this weekend, I am praying that I make it…I made all A’s in 6 courses and 1 C (stupid Math!).</p>
<p>They will not calculate you maymester course because it is considered a summer course. I called yesterday and asked specifically about this.</p>

<p>I’m in the same boat. My status has been “currently under review” since 5/20. I applied to the College of Communications with COLA as my second choice. 36 hours with an overall 3.57 gpa. Hoping that’s good enough.</p>
<p>I’m in! I found out this morning that I got accepted to COLA (my first choice was Natural Sciences). I was rejected in April, but I visited an admissions counselor who told me to send in my updated transcripts and appeal the decision. My GPA includes coursework taken at BSU almost ten years ago as well as two years at ACC with a 4.0. So: 3.25 cumulative, 47 hours, no rec letters, three essays, and no EC’s. Invoking Fresh Start for Spring 2011 would have boosted my GPA to 3.8.</p>
