@username, I’m sorry for my previous post. I read it on my phone and somehow I thought it said you were accepted. I do hope you receive an acceptance soon!

@meowzas1 congrats!!! that’s very exciting.

@MJG678 were you able to access housing before you got your acceptance?

@something12345 I got my acceptance via phone call on the 29th (because I am a GT applicant)… the housing portal was made available to freshman and transfers on the 29th at 5 pm… I was able to log in then!

How do you check if you can log into housing?

Howcome everyone is concerned about housing? is that an actual indication of acceptance??

It has been known to mean something if you CAN log in, but means NOTHING if you can’t.

@Chris1992
Well, I think I should revise that, because if you can’t log in, it COULD be because you were not accepted. However, not being able to log in does not mean that you have not been accepted.

whoa! so this is what I’m experiencing now.I’m able to log into housing and then: 1. Select Application, Then next: The application process is not currently available to you.
What does this mean?? And those who are not able to log in, is it that you don’t even get to this stage at all?

all it says is “Either your session has timed out or you are not currently logged in” :(

I still get the “Either your session has timed out or you are not currently logged in. Please visit the University login page to log in.” when I try to get onto the housing portal.

I stopped checking my housing a week ago. I don’t want to get any false hopes/disappointments.

Not worried about housing…yet. My major’s decisions aren’t made yet.

@divzero what major are you applying for?

@ I get the same “Either your session has timed out or you are not currently logged in. Please visit the University login page to log in.” message.

Hi everyone!

I don’t know why I’m posting so late, but I’m an applicant from McGill University in Canada. I’m entering as junior (3rd year).

I applied to CAS (Asian Studies)! I have a lot of friends who transferred to Cornell last year from my school, and they told me they got their admission decisions at the end of April… but it seems some people already have theirs?!

Late April sounds right for CAS this year as well- it seems that those who applied to ILR or CHE are getting decisions the earliest. I WISH we had ours! Good luck!

@visions, I am a mechanical engineering major.

Congrats to all of those who got in!
I was a Fall 2010 transfer and graduating this semester, so I can relate alot to this thread!

OMG! Now it no longer says that the housing application is not available to me. I can fill it out and everything! Does this mean I got in?!

ya same here but it says im a freshman…so im thinking it means nothing lol
