<p>Thanks everyone! And I wouldn’t worry about anything if you’re an ILR applicant and you haven’t gotten anything. I think they just started really deciding on apps this week. I got the call from Ian after he said the committee reviewed my file this morning. (But I guess they knew my file and decision already based on my call yesterday?.. Look at my preview post)</p>

<p>I am a sophomore transfer and here are my stats…</p>

<p>College: top catholic school
College GPA: 3.7ish?
High school GPA: ~93
College ECs: internship at nonprofit, volunteer work, several leadership positions, committee member, etc…
HS ECs: whole bunch of stuff that I kinda don’t want to get into.
Essay: about how the ILR major is helpful for the career I want in life. And common app essay was about the wrong choices I made when originally applying for colleges and how I realized too late what I want to do in the future.
Recs: all solid recs from honors professor and college official
SAT/ACT: 2270/34</p>

<p>You guys won’t get much from this quick glance at my stats and you guys shouldn’t. Have faith in your application! Admissions has a plan for everyone haha and every app that comes in will be carefully debated over. You guys are all strong applicants so just hope that there’s something in it that makes Ian stop and say, “I want THIS kid.” </p>

<p>And besides, i think my essays were what killed it for me. </p>

<p>The ILR admissions office closes at 4PM eastern (about 5 minutes ago), and based off of the various times people said they got the phone call, it would seem that they were calling people throughout the day, all the way up until closing. Hopefully this means that there are more acceptance calls that they didn’t get to today.</p>

<p>ahhh he’s said he’ll be office for the next half hour so I called back but now the office is closed…danggit. hahha
idk i was really reluctant about speaking to him because i’m expecting a rejection :O</p>

<p>oh and to ILR applicants, Ian said something along the lines of “this process takes forever, we have numerous committe meetings, but we did have our first one yesterday and got to your file…” so don’t get discouraged that you didn’t get a call OR that you can’t log into housing (because that clearly doesn’t mean you’re not in). </p>

<p>I called at like 8:30 in the morning to see if someone could check my app and the lady told me I’d be waiting two weeks…got my call from Ian a little before 10.</p>
