I can log into housing now!

@homuhomu, Hopefully that is a good sign! You applied to Animal Science right?

@Maconn

Yes.

Hey can someone let me know how to attempt to log into housing? I dont even know how to try…

[Housing - Apply for Housing](<a href=“Residential Life | Student & Campus Life | Cornell University”>Residential Life | Student & Campus Life | Cornell University)

click ‘Click here to apply if you do not yet have a Cornell NetID, using your Cornell Application ID (note that Applicant IDs stop working once you activate your NetID)’.

I am applying to CALS as a biological sciences major. I haven’t been able to log into housing until this morning. Now it lets me go all the way through to the application!!! Should I be receiving an email soon? Is it still possible that I actually wasn’t accepted?

@collegekid793 Although its not a guarantee, being able to log into housing is a strong, strong indicator that you have been accepted. If so, congratulations!

@Chris1992

The self-service thing hasn’t changed for me at all

Has anyone been accepted to ILR today? Not including those who had missed calls yesterday.

ENGINEERING?!! are those who applied for engineering notified last??

Called Ian today, after the email yesterday, half fearful that he would ask me questions on my application, half secretly hopeful that it was an acceptance. It was ![]()
ILR Class of 2015!
Also, Ian said that they had their first committee meeting yesterday. They will have many more committee meetings later this week and next week. So, this is the first batch of acceptances. Congratulations to those accepted! Good Luck to all!

@secretlyyhopeful Congratulations!
You must be excited! How are you going to celebrate?

While the rest of us are waiting on a decision… what is everyone going to do if they don’t get in? Haha

Congrats secretlyyhopeful!!

@Vitakka, if I dont get in im gonna write a big long letter to Cornell about what mistake they mad and how I dont need them, then im going to write them a letter hysterically begging for admission which im sure will be followed by a restraining notice from Cornell
lol

Just kidding but I will be really sad. I’ll probably attend either maryland university or george washington and do an internship at the smithsonian. How about you?

@Dreaming42012 Let me know how that letter goes haha.

Cornell is the last school I have to hear from. If I don’t get in I’ll be going to URochester for biochem. Their transfer acceptance rate is ~20%, about the same as CALS, so hopefully I’ll be alright!

GWU and UM are still great schools though dude/dudette, I wouldn’t be too sad to go there if I were you haha.

Is there a Facebook group for new students? It would be great if we could get together once school starts and reflect on this process.

Has anyone from engineering been able to log nto housing?

my sister called me this morning to let me know that my ILR acceptance letter came.

gunna have to drive home to retreive it and bring it to my high school to show the teachers who always had my back and believed in me :)

hope everyone who is still waiting hears good news soon!

Congrats jimbo719!!!..So looks like everyone who was able to log into housing was accepted!..Good luck to everyone else!

Congrats Jimbo! I knew you would get in… But why did you receive a letter while other applicants received phone calls? Any theories?

@secretlyhopeful

could you post your stats please?
