Official FALL 2012 Cornell Transfers

@transferneow, oh yeah~ nice to c ya~ which college and major r u applying for?

I’m applying to the CAS econ/math major…hopefully it works out! However it’s not my number one. Can you log into housing?

@GregFields did you ever call admissions? I think basically what happened is they made a quick review of every application and accepted the “clear admits” and now they’re going back and carefully analyzing everything else. We should hear back next week. I have high hopes

@clinteastwood

I talked to admissions. You are over-thinking it. Admissions is rolling, starting now and going through May. Many things determine when you get looked at (not just “clear admits”)

@transferneow true. There’s not much speculating we can do considering how complex and mysterious the whole process is

@transferneow: no, I cant log into the housing stuff neither phone call. btw am applying for CHE as a Nutrition Sciences major. I submitted all the stuff really late, and all the material were sent to review during the beginning of April. So I am wondering I may heard from them very late? I have no idea , but still waiting with some hope…

any one whose material were sent to review late and get any feedback~

ahh, need some good news from cornell indeed! Good luck to all who are still waiting~

Thank you so much for maintaining the list Dreaming, I really appreciate it. You are right, the number of accepted ILRies is impressive! About 64% of us admitted so far, that’s amazing. For the first time, I’m really starting to feel anxious about the admissions process… :(

Hey guys,

Cheers,
Terv

@ ILRgirl im also still waiting for ILR. we are amazing and care a lot about ILR and are obviously going to get in. only like 10-15 out of maybe under 300 applicants for ILR are posting on here and im sure the majority of us will be hearing this next week with good news :). i definitely did not turn in a bad app and am expecting a great outcome (for both of us!

@Ilrgirl, no problem im glad to keep updating the list. Also, dont worry, u seem awesome and you should definitely be accepted. Plus, box90210 is right. I think the reason so many ilr applicants on cc are getting accepted is because its obvious you are all truly interested in going to cornell which is why you guys have taken the extra step and joined this website. There are so many more students applying for ilr who are not here and as far as we know most of them might not get accepted. All im saying is that you still have just as good of a chance of getting in and I really hope you do :)

Its normal to be anxious, trust me I know cause cornell is all im thinking about currently, but dont let it doubt yourself. At the end of the day just the fact you care so much is another reason why you deserve to be there, lol, at least thats what I keep telling myself

We’re all in the same boat. Still haven’t heard anything. It would be pretty awesome if we were all accepted Monday morning. We’re in this together. The Three Amigos.

@clinteastwood

I didn’t end up calling. My school has today off as a holiday, and I didn’t even wake up until after 1pm. Since I’m on the west coast, the office was already closed. Maybe I’ll call on Monday, depends how anxious I feel.

@box @Dreaming @Gregfields, that is so sweet of all of you to respond! I feel much calmer after reading yours posts… and I agree now with your logic Dreaming :slight_smile: I really hope we get in. Thank goodness there’s this site for all of us to bond and support each other. Gotta loove technology

@GregFields I think they’ll call you first! We can hold out for one more week. The wait sucks but I’m still positive we’ll all get in

A whole week? I don’t know about that…haha. It would be such a relief to hear back Monday like GregFields said.
