Hi, I am new to this thread. I was accepted to ILR by phone on 4/10. I was able to log into housing a day after. For people in the same situation, have you received an official acceptance via email or letter yet? Have you received an net ID? I still think that I am hallucinating! Thanks!

@Fly, pretty much. Based on 2011’s thread though, probably a handful of applicants were accepted the third week. And I feel similarly about my essays too… Best of luck to you

The longer I wait the more I want to want to be in ILR too… None of the other schools I’d be going to can compare in their curriculum.

I know. But when you are in the midst of applying to a bunch of schools (let me speak for myself, atleast) the excitement just seems to plague me. Although, I may be being hard on myself now, and it could indeed be the anxiety thats eating me and causing me to doubt myself. But yeah, the ILR is tailor fitted to my interests.

@Fly I totally agree with wanting to redo the essays. I literally think about that every day. I have have re-read it over 100 times in these past couple of week - as if that’ll make any difference! Ha! Good luck to all! Many of us will be hearing back this week insha’Allah.

hope tomorrow is the day! it might be tuesday though. the big call explosion day. :)

ILR people are so lucky that they get a phone call. Us CHE hopefuls have to wait on snail mail. A phone call is probably a lot more nerve racking though so maybe I’m wrong. lol. It is taking everything inside of me not to call the office up every hour on the hour about the status of my application. D:
I just want to know already so I can get it off my mind.

For ILR applicants, according to last year, most of the acceptances were in a two week span. This year, people have been accepted in only a one week span, so hopefully that means this coming week will see a good bit of acceptances as well.

^ yes that is very true. that is exactly why all the ILRers will be getting in this week :)

^ lol! Should be! Last year about half of the ILRies were accepted the first week and half the second week. That’s excellent news for us

ahh I just can’t wait! I’m CAS so I know I still have a while to wait, but the suspense with 1) the decision date, 2) the way they’ll notify me, and 3) the decision are all making me so anxious! Can’t wait till its May 1st and hopefully most decisions (for everyone) will be made

Same here centwave-- can you log into housing? I know CAS is notoriously later and I did submit my application riiiighhttttt before the deadline but it’s still making me a little nervous that I can’t.

FWIW, I sent an email about the financial aid documents that my portal said were missing. They quickly responded and updated my portal.

Still waiting for ILR decision…ugh it’s killing me
I called the ILR lady on last thursday and she told me
that we’ll get the snail mails on 23rd.
good luck to all who are waiting!!

Guys, has your financial aid to-do list changed? Mine now only shows one document due, with a due date of 01/02/2012.

@alyssa - I can’t log into housing
I guess it’s not looking too good for me. I submitted my midterm report relatively later, but that was because my exams were all the first week of April

@centwave- They dont activate your housing until they accept you, and odds ae they haven’t made a decision on your app yet (they have reviewed very few CAS so far)

thanks for the advice @transfer! I hope you’re right. I was just looking back through the thread and it looks like a few people in CAS have already received rejections, so that’s a bit worrisome!

Really?? Aside from something’s acceptance I hadn’t seen anyone else get an answer from CAS… This whole process is such a crapshoot.

@centwave, who got rejected this year? The list of acceptances and rejections that ILRgirl posted is from last year.

CAS… CAS… Guess we have to be more patient than others. Hopefully it’s worth waiting!
Good luck to you all!
