Congrats! to everyone who got in today!
Hey what do you guys think: if CHE received some extra application materials from me on April 10 and now my application is absolutely complete do you think there’s any chance I could hear back this week. Apparently they were looking at/reviewing my application last week. I am just so unbelievably anxious, as I know all of you are too!

me? march 1

my bad, you meant the other person.
anyways, hope the wait is over soon for all of us!

Would it be annoying for me to call the office asking if my decision has been sent out? I called twice last week. I feel psycho D:

@miami4rmjax: no, you are not. I want to but don’t have the guts. You are brave!

Congrats to you all who got in!
Im an international app and applying architecture(AAP) The AAP AO said decisions will come out in first week of May. The waiting is killing me!!! I’m so sad to see the result of last year(seems only one got in) T.T

It seems we have few AAP applicants here
do you guys know other AAP applicants?

Thx

@eleeeeen thanks for the encouragement! I’m not brave - just desperate and impatient. lol. If I don’t get my decision by Thursday then I will call again. Hopefully they don’t start to hate me ¯_(ツ)_/¯

we only hear our decision through the mail? nothing online?

@miami4rmjax, you are not psycho! lol, just anxious. I am feeling the same way, last week I couldn’t take it any longer and contacted the CALS admissions office and asked if I could send extra materials since my application was still under review. They told me I could and that they would add it to my application so today I asked for another recommendation, haha mind you I already sent in 4. Maybe I am way over thinking this but I thought the fact they told me to send it in means they haven’t rejected me yet which put me a tid bit at ease. Hopefully you hear soon as well. Since you are applying to Human Ecology, you could call and ask to talk to Paul Fisher and ask him about your decision and if there is anything else you can send in to help them say yes!
Good luck!

visions567,

Biological sciences. How about you? and what school are you attending now?

@Dreaming42012 That makes me wonder if I should send an updated version of my Common App, since I have been involved in some new decent EC experiences since I submitted my application in February lol. This wait is destroying me though! Hard to study with Cornell on the mind.

A kid in my sustainability class just got accepted to CAS for anthro by letter last week, but he told me he’s gonna turn it down haha. Maybe more room for you CAS applicants?

Still no housing login/decision here (CALS).

@billsiki

I am an architecture applicant too… r u already in any US university? which year r u going to get in if u r accepted?

Yes! I’m in a state university ranked 60-70 in studio art major, because it doesn’t have arch here. I think I would enter as junior. How about u? Could u plz post ur stats if u havent done so?

Btw it’s my 2nd time to apply to AAP

@Dreaming42012 Thank you so much for the kind words! It makes me feel much better knowing that I am not alone in this stressful situation! Send in everything that will help you! The fact that you were able to get 5 different people to write recommendations for you is really incredible and says a lot, I think! And the fact that they are willing to take more info from you definitely seems to me that they are very interested in you. If they were ready to reject you, then I’m sure they wouldn’t make you waste your time sending in more materials! I really hope you get in! Oh and I spoke to Paul Fisher last week and he told me to send in some specific materials, which I did, but I’m still nervous! I just found out that I am going to be doing an internship with the center for disease control in Haiti and I’m wondering if I should send them the info. I think I will. lol. Good luck to you and everyone else! If we all get in we should seriously meet up. You all seem like such great people. Wow thats a lot of exclamation points I just used. You can sense my excitement. lol

@Cornellarch
Have you ever seen any portfolio samples of admitted transfer students? What other schools did u apply to?

Hope we could hear something before May!

can any one tell me they will tell you the decision by letter or e-mail?

@pennycakes it depends on the school you’re applying to. ILR has done it by phone call recently, CALS is either email or snail mail, and the rest are strictly snail mail as far as I know. But snail mail is an option for any school.

that is so annoying (the snail mail) - does that mean as an international student, I would be hearing back at least 2 weeks later than the others?

@cccandy, yeah i know it sounds terrible but just be patient, u definitely will get good news, ;-)))) btw r u out of united states or on the west coast?

congrats to people who heard back today. anyone hear from ILR? I called and the lady (not sure what her name is) told me that decisions would be mailed out next week.
