@virusyoungha-that looks like the form they send you if you were missing information from your application. An example would be if you did not send them your transcripts or some supplement or they did not receive it by the deadline date for applications to be received. If you were applying for Fall 2012 then the deadline would have been Feb 1, 2012. Otherwise email or call admissions.

No that is their typical rejection email. They are saying if you are still interesting in transferring to UofM, you can move your application over to the Winter 2013 term.

how long did it take for you guys to hear back?

@markyang

I had my final transcript submitted january 26th and heard back february 7th at ~1am.

did you guys find out through the university of michigan portal thing where you log in?
And @beotherworldly also, it said you were accepted for spring 2012, does that mean you’re there now?

Hey guys, I was wondering-if I lived in Michigan my whole life, and both my parents still currently live there as well as my sister who attends MSU, but I moved away a year ago and am currently a resident of another state, is it possible to obtain in-state tuition? I am still considered a dependent of my parents, who are Michigan residents, and I even have a Michigan license plate.

When would i hear back from Michigan if i applied as a transfer student. Deadline was february 1.

@bleedmichigan, Congrats!

That was very inspiring and close to my stats as well :)

@ChadVene-Good luck, email your transfer adviser. Oddly enough after I emailed mine about 30 times in a week asking pointed and specific questions, not just the standard “when will I get a decision,” I got a decision 8 days later. Oddly enough it was on Wolverine Access at 6:15am but I did not get the email for UMichigan till a little after 1pm today.

congratulations bleedmichigan…now the question is will you truly be bleeding maize and blue or will you be going to uchicago (boo).

@ClutchEngineer-Michigan has always been my first choice. Plus with the subjects that I want to study History/Anthropology, the fact that I am planning on grad school, I already have paid the deposit, notified all the other schools about my decision, and I have only had my acceptance for less than 12 hours.

So if that doesn’t show where I want to go and I am going then I do not know what would.
